To all dog owners, please keep your dogs on a lead at all times as there have been several sheep attacks and sheep worrying incidents in the past couple of weeks, which has resulted in 21 dead sheep. It is a criminal offence to let your dog worry sheep. Even if you think your dog will not chase or worry sheep, dogs are unpredictable and this can happen to anyone. Local Farmers do not want to be put in a position where they may have to shoot a dog. To date, there have been four different incidents involving the same flock of sheep.
