Resurfacing of Road/Footpath/Cycle way, Sharpham gates to St Davids Church
The Clerk reported that the work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Right of Way Warden, Paul McFadden. Cllr Paterson tried to encourage the charity Sustrans to look at the road safety aspect from the cyclist’s perspective but they seem to be too busy to visit the parish. The word “SLOW” will be painted on the surface to deter speeding vehicles and cyclists.
Ashprington Brown Bin Collection.
Cllr Greaves reported that a group of volunteers from the parish, completed a final “brown bin collection” on January 21st. Parishioners seemed grateful and donations to the “Make a Wish” foundation were made by a number of people. Thanks go to all of the volunteers for their help and support.
Coronation of King Charles May 2023
The Council debated the options for the parish for the Coronation weekend. It is likely that a number of groups in the parish will want to organize events and a meeting is take place on March 1st. Cllr Stocks has agreed to oversee the Parish Council contribution.
Damaged Wall Near Ash Meadow.
A parishioner is to be approached as it is believed that he might agree to repair the wall which has been slightly damaged.

The gate has now been erected at the foot of Lime Lane. The stile near Sharpham Pillars has had steps created to make access easier for disabled people and child’s buggies. The new access for Crownley Woods is nearly finished – steps and a gate just need to be installed. A circular walk will then be available again.
The annual P3 footpath survey is underway.
