Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Council
Held at Ashprington Village Hall on Thursday 8th May 2025 @ 7.30pm
Present – Cllr L Stocks, Cllr S Paterson, Cllr S Greaves, Cllr R Rogers, Cllr K Throgmorton
Attended by – Mr Ian Bentlett (Ash Meadow).
Apologies for absence – Cllr P Thompson, Cllr T Green, Pam Macey (P3).
1) Election of Chairman – Cllr R Rogers – proposed by Cllr K Throgmorton & seconded by Cllr S Paterson with all in agreement.
2) Election of Vice-Chairman – Cllr S Greaves – proposed by Cllr S Paterson & seconded by Cllr K Throgmorton with all in agreement.
3) Council Members to be Representatives on other Committees/Duties.
a) Village Hall Committee – Cllr L Stocks
b) Ash Meadow Committee – Cllr S Paterson
c) Highways – Cllr R Rogers
d) Parish Emergency Plan – Cllr K Throgmorton
e) P3 Co-Ordinator – Pam Macey
f) Tree Warden – Tom Green & Mike Pearey
g) Dartmouth Harbour – Cllr P Thompson
h) Snow Warden – Cllr K Throgmorton
i) Defibrillator Group – Cllr S Paterson
Proposed on bloc by Cllr K Throgmorton & seconded by Cllr S Paterson with all in agreement.
4) Financial Statement, Adoption of Accounts from 2024/2025.
A full copy of the accounts has been circulated to Cllrs, all in agreement that these are adopted and will now go to audit in June.
