The Maltsters Arms is situated in an idyllic spot on Bow Creek. During the summer months our quayside is a popular spot where you can soak up the sun with fabulous views across Bow Creek. Our informal quayside BBQ is available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in the summer.You can also dine in our superb restaurant which also overlooks Bow Creek. We have an enviable reputation for serving  fantastic, imaginative dishes, all our fish, meat and vegetables are locally sourced, fresh and succulent.

A quintessential 17th Century Inn set in an area of outstanding natural beauty,  at the bottom of a steep valley next to Bow Creek and bridge. 
The Inn has been used as a smithy, a brew house, petrol station, a prison  and a haunt for the feared press gangs.  The area was recorded in the Domesday book.
All food served at The Waterman’s Arms is sourced from the  Westcountry’s finest farms. Local suppliers and in season produce are used, wherever possible.
